Fish auctions were held in the former Packing and Auction Hall X until the 1990s. With a length of almost 400 metres and a location directly on the water, the impressive building still has great potential for the fishing industry. For this reason, FBG is looking for anchor tenants from this sector for sections of Packhalle X. In his presentation, Tim Pohlenz, authorised signatory and Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure at FBG, explains how the impressive Hall X can be developed and what opportunities there are for companies.

In addition to studying at the German Foreign Trade and Transport Academy in Bremen and Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, business graduate Tim Pohlenz lived and worked in Miami for 1 ½ years. After almost 16 years working for the Dieckell Group in Bremerhaven in various roles as Managing Director and authorised signatory, Tim Pohlenz took over as Head of Real Estate and Infrastructure at FBG in 2023.

The company founder and owner of AWF Consulting, Alexander Wever, has been working full-time in the fish/seafood sector for over 25 years, so that AWF Consulting has a wide-ranging, excellent professional network based on personal relationships. The exclusive specialization in the fish/seafood sector enables AWF to offer a breadth and depth of consulting services on this topic that is probably unique in the German-speaking world. This includes, in particular, the precise analysis of value chains and sales channels, the assessment of consumer preferences and complex calculation models for seafood.
