EVERYTHING HOME-MADE! A SUSTSAINABLE EMPLOYER BRAND COMES FROM WITHIN.

26. February, 12:0013:00

Moderation: Margitta Eichelbaum, Zukunft Personal

Sustainability has been a top priority at the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City for years, long before the current hype. The corresponding targets are not limited to ecological aspects – personnel issues are also set in a sustainable manner. Daria Mehrkens, HR & Talent Manager at ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City, explains exactly how this works and the success of special programs for the development and retention of trainees and employees. Find out how creative, consistent and individual measures can be used to create an employer brand that is credible and contributes to corporate goals.

Daria Mehrkens, HR & Talent Manager and Trainee Guide, ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City

Born in Arkhangelsk, Russia, and based in Germany for many years, cosmopolitanism and integral thinking are a matter of course for Daria Mehrkens. The choice of her degree programme at Friedrich Schiller University Jena is only logical. Daria completed her Master of Arts in Intercultural Human Resources Development and Communication Management after graduating with a degree in German Studies. Her passion for people, which she already demonstrated in international youth work and as a volunteer at the Olympic Games in Sochi, has now become her profession. Since 2019, she has been responsible for human resources, recruiting and training at the ATLANTIC Hotel Sail City. Her goal: to shape the future with a loyal and motivated team.
