Fischereihafen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH is the reliable point of contact for a wide range of issues for companies based in the fishing harbour: From comprehensive refurbishment projects in terms of climate protection and energy efficiency and the conversion of historic, listed buildings to shore power connections for ships or canal operations in the fishing harbour. Olaf Schröder, authorised signatory and Head of Energy and Water Supply and Technical Operations at FBG, talks to Alexander Wever about FBG’s wide range of services, provides brief insights into projects and highlights the strengths of Bremerhaven’s fishing port location.

After training as a bricklayer, Olaf Schröder graduated with a degree in civil engineering. After holding various professional positions in planning offices and in the building materials industry, Olaf Schröder is now an authorised signatory and division manager for construction and maintenance as well as energy and water supply at Fischereihafen-Betriebsgesellschaft mbH.

 

 

 

 

Alexander Wever, Founder and Owner, AWF Consulting 

The company founder and owner of AWF Consulting, Alexander Wever, has been working full-time in the fish/seafood sector for over 25 years, so that AWF Consulting has a wide-ranging, excellent professional network based on personal relationships. The exclusive specialization in the fish/seafood sector enables AWF to offer a breadth and depth of consulting services on this topic that is probably unique in the German-speaking world. This includes, in particular, the precise analysis of value chains and sales channels, the assessment of consumer preferences and complex calculation models for seafood. In addition to his consultancy work, Alexander Wever also represents national and international non-profit organizations in German-speaking countries such as the “Eel Initiative”, the “ESF Eel Stewardship Fund”, the “SEG Sustainable Eel Group” and the North American “Food Export USA Northeast”.
