What does a traditional company do to ensure successful HR management in the digital transformation? “Meet the applicants where they are,” says NORDSEE HR specialist Ina Claas and will explain how the transition from traditional recruiting to social media recruiting is successful. New approaches are also needed when it comes to training: away from traditional learning with training departments and into the world of hybrid learning. All of this is accompanied by a profound cultural change that a company with German roots must achieve when integrating into an international group.

Ina Claas started out in catering at IKEA. It was there that she discovered her passion for HR and gained her first experience as an instructor, trainer and coach at the headquarters. She then worked as Commercial Manager and Competence Developer for IKEA Food Germany. After a brief stint as Academy and Personnel Development Manager in industry, Ina Claas returned to the catering industry – to NORDSEE, where she works as Deputy HR Manager in Recruiting, Employer Branding and Learning and Development in Germany and Austria. She describes her work as a lecturer at DGBB, the German Association for Vocational Training, as the perfect balance.

Margitta Eichelbaum, Zukunft Personal

Creative mind, mastermind and generalist. Born in her 70s, from the north of Germany, she works as an economist throughout Germany. The foundation was laid by a commercial apprenticeship in Hamburg and a university degree in Augsburg, followed by three major corporate positions at Beiersdorf, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and IBM. There she worked in many different national and international teams and gained over 30 years of experience in four major areas: IT, marketing, communications and HR. Today she is a freelancer and works in an appreciative, structured and goal-orientated manner in the office and @Home with various teams in the context of consulting projects, presentations and moderations.
