Development of a consumer-based quality assessment tool as a service for the food and beverage industry

Service, quality and sustainability are features that are not only important to consumers when selecting products, but retailers and the food service industry are also increasingly exposed to these trends.

To implement trends in companies, businesses must be creative and innovative and have a close relationship with their customers.

The Fish-HuG project has developed a new service that enables consumers to objectively assess the quality of fish restaurants and fish processing companies.

Existing quality standards and services of the companies are reflected objectively. The results are to be communicated via a seal, the Fisch-HuG.

 

Anneli Rost, Technology Transfer Center Bremerhaven (ttz)

Anneli Rost works in the competence field of sensory and consumer research at the TTZ Bremerhaven.

With the help of focus groups and surveys as well as behavioral science methods, she gets to the bottom of consumers’ fish purchasing and consumption habits.

 

 

 

 

Alexander Wever, founder and owner, AWF Consulting

The company founder and owner of AWF Consulting, Alexander Wever, has been working full-time in the fish/seafood sector for over 25 years, so that AWF Consulting has a wide-ranging, excellent professional network based on personal relationships. AWF’s exclusive specialization in the fish/seafood sector enables it to offer a breadth and depth of consulting services in this area that is probably unique in the German-speaking world.
